Abdoulie Mansally has returned from an injury that kept him out since August.
The defender watched proceedings from the bench in the 3-2 defeat against the Colorado Rapids but soon got involved in the subsequent match starring from start to finish against Western Conference third-placed LA Galaxy.
The former New England Revolution winger got a rare 90-minute run at left-back but his involvement couldn’t deter LA from snatching the spoils at the BBVA Compass Stadium.
Abdoulie hasn’t been featured the way he would have wanted for Dynamo whom he joined from Real Salt Lake.
The 27-year-old has raked up only five hundred and sixty-six minutes of football on nine appearances for Houston, a sharp contrast from his previous season total one thousand, three hundred and ten while at Real Salt Lake.
Having recuperated all pumped up, the ex-U-17 will be hoping his newfound starting instinct gives him chance to prove to Houston his worth to be kept when the Expansion Draft (transfer window) reopens.
Mansally though has only the coming game against Colorado to show that with a single game left for end of the league.
