Gambia international Hamza Barry is proving unstoppable as he makes it
ten goals in thirteen goals, his club highest goal-scorer.
The 19-year-old ace is averaging a statistic of four goals in every two game of recent. The midfielder got on the score sheet scoring abrace in the 3-0 mauling of second-from-bottom HotSpurs to close in on
runaway leaders Hibernian on nine points in the Maltese premier
Valletta aren’t willing to give up the title they won last term and
Gambia’s Hamza is helping them make it a back-to-back crusade with
his laudable form having been switched to the wing.
The former Nusrat graduate is on a rampage and netting a career record
goal haul of 10 in a season and is showing no sign of slowing down
He’ll be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and his
employers are in a hurry to offer an improved contract with higher pay
to avoid losing him on the cheap.
Talks, it is understood, have started between the parties over a
renewal. Spanish top flight club Getafe are known admirers of the
erstwhile Gambia Ports Authority starlet and had a bid to price the
Gambian rejected ahead of the league commencement.
The Laliga outfit will have to double up their proposal to tempt the
club to sell the ace.
