Global Boxing Council world middleweight title holder Omar Jatta has
arrived in the Gambia on a sabbatical Foroyaa Sport can report.
Jatta who’s been based in Austria doing most of his fighting in
Germany returns to the Gambia after eleven years.As revealed in our exclusive interview with the 36-year-old in March
of a proposed plan to visit home, Omar is finally back to his land of
birth to celebrate with Gambians his latest scoop- the Global Boxing
Council middleweight belt.
Omar, it could be recalled, beat off competition from Dominik Ameri
Turgay Uzun in Hamburg to clinch the belt.
