Njie is champ in draught memo tournament

Sheikh Njie over the weekend clinched the Abdoulie Saine memorial Sheikh Njiedraught championship fending off competition from Dodou Ndow, Sulayman Norman and Ismaila Ceesay.

Njie laid claims on the 9th edition staked prize in a competition attracting an overall thirty-one participants held at the Dobson Vous. Sheikh for his exploits pocketed D5,000 a trophy signifying his first position finish and a certificate.

Sabiji Club’s Dodou Ndow wrapped up the show second-placed with a D3,000 consolation fee and a certificate while Sulayman Norman from Unity Vous – one time champion of the champions- contended with a third place finish pocketing D200 and a certificate.

Campama Vous’s Ismaila Ceesay claimed fourth position with D1,000 fee with D2000 given to four other participants.
