Club Baol leader Tapha Tine cut a desolate figure following his defeat to Ama Balde in a mini tournament featuring four wrestlers fighting on rotational basis.
Staged over the weekend, at the Stade Demba Diop ,Tapha Tine, who had the King of Arena prize to his feet but lost to Balla Gaye in that duel, was tipped favourite prior to the match.
His towering frame and boxing abilities were the arguments put up by analysts when tagging him favourite. His complete dependence on hand jabs and apparent inability to tangle-wrestle were never counted as weaknesses when faced with Ama Balde.
However against expectations, the man from Baol club was not only bundled but as well forced to take joint-second place position with Gouye Gui whom he thrashed in his opening match.
Tapha Tine now faces Zoss a match he must win to redeem his career while Ama takes on Gouye Gui in a revenge match.
Earlier Gouye revenged on Zoss sending him packing with a wide right-hander.
