Record FA Cup winners Gamtel are looking to make it a quintet after Gamtel eyes record FA Cupriding themselves of Brikama United on penalties to squeeze into the cup finals.

Both teams settled for a drab goalless affair throughout allocated time until kicks settled it with Gamtel sealing off a ticket into the final round of the cup competition.

The telecom giants had been scooping the gong on back-to-back basis as Tapha Manneh turned Gamtel into sort of Cup specialists.

The side missed out on the title for the first time the previous campaign as Gamtel finished the season barren of trophies and having to contend without playing any CAF tournament.

But gaffer Manneh looks more determined than ever to ensure he re-claims the coveted title as he chases a double with his side also in the running for the domestic league trophy.

Elsewhere in an FA Cup quarter-final showdown, holders Banjul United have lost the race to defend their title after losing to second tier side Marimoo FC 2-1. The victory assured the ex-Seaview FC outfit a place in the semis faced with a task of beating Wallidan 28th May to go the finals.
