Volleyball: Gamtel grab first points

Gamtel female side picked their first points of the new volleyballGamtel female side
league following a 25-5 and 25-18 trouncing of adversaries Brikama.
Having succumbed to reigning champions Armed Forces previously, Gamtelensured a bounce back against the Sateyba female volleyball outfit.
The first set had Gamtel racing on a quick 5-2 lead to go into break
at top.
Resumption saw the telecom stretch their lead in the second and third
sets on a final 25-5 and 25-18 respectively.
It was a different footing for Brikama in the male category as the
West Coast Region male team swaggered past YMCA on 3-0 with 25-18,
25-18 and 25-22 in the first, second and third sets. YMCA attempted a come back but robust hosts Brikama stood their ground.
Over the weekend at the East Park Interior trashed Prions in both the male
and female categories.
The Police male team recuperated from a 3-2 setback to Brikama
fortnight ago to rubbish league newcomers Prisons while GAF vs SK East
Olymp Africa game was marred by violence and the game aborted.
