CHAN is a biennial championship and is the local version of the Africa Cup of Nations but strictly for local-based national team players aimed at reviving domestic football at continental level.
The second leg takes place either 3rd or 5th of July at the Bakau Independence Stadium.
The winner will face either Liberia or Guinea at the next round of the qualifiers for the fourth edition of the tournament.
Gambia has never qualified for the CHAN tournament whilst Senegal has once participation to their name, maiden edition in 2009 in Cote d’Ivoire.
