Ous Jallow firing shots as Cameroon game beckons

Ahead of unveiling full list of invited players for the Cameroon qualifier match, striker Ousman Jallow is Ous Jallow 5signaling he doesn’t deserve overlooking this time.

The attacker was left out in the cold in Gambia’s opening qualifier goalless stalemate against South Africa with other first-timers preferred.

At the time, circumstances worked against Jallow forcing Raoul Savoy to exclude the ex-Gambia youth team captain.

The 26-year-old had sat for one-year plus without action and was only weeks old at HJK. A bout of injuries picked up at start of the new season didn’t help his precarious case either.

But having gelled well in his new team, Ousman fondly dubbed Mario by his international team-mates, is laying a fresh case he deserves consideration this time.

Fresh from a man-of-the match performance in his club exit in the Champions League qualifier, the Gambian again was out for the kill scoring a decisive loan goal that strengthened HJK’s lead at the top.

Gambia takes on Cameroon September 6th. Weeks ahead of the cracker duel coach Savoy is already faced with selection headache with 13-goal Bubacarr Trawally –based in China also in strong contention to be picked.
