He was speaking to this reporter at his residence recently, 2015 at his Family House at Brikama Sanchaba.
He noted that as he is now back to his best, he is very thankful to god for giving him the opportunity to be reunited with his family, fans, friends and loved ones, saying that both Gambians and Non-Gambians have been in solidarity with him as well as praying for his speedy recovery.
‘’I was never thinking that I will be back to my best because the day I was leaving my home for Senegal for treatment, my condition was very worrying,’’ he said.
Tata further stated that he is gratified that he is now well and just recuperating on his fitness in order to commence his business.
‘’I already have two albums with me, but the band have to do some rehearsals as I am waiting for the end of November to start my activities and entertain my fans who missed my songs a lot,’’ he charged.
Tata who is planning a massive album launch soon said he has a lot of surprises for the people, noting that once the albums are released, the fans and loved ones would be very delighted.
But at the moment, I am just putting together myself, the band and sort out some pending issues I left behind before travelling to Senegal for my treatment and thank god now most of the works have been done.
‘’As the saying goes, charity begins home, I will stage my first concert in Brikama to pay the community for their loyalty, love and respect shown to me during my difficult periods,’’ he charged.
