Group A is at its peak with Sutusinjang’s awaiting qualification to
the next round. In a match held recently, Sutusinjang were held to aone-all draw by resolute defending champions Besse United.
Buba Sanneh rifled in the opening goal to place  Besse in the lead
before a-come-from-behind forced a stalemate with new entrant
Ansumana Badjie turning the provider.
Besse had led fourteen minutes from break. Three minutes into the
second period Badjie stepped up to the occasion dancing his way past a
mass of defenders before getting bundled in the box. Pabi Manga rose
to the billing firing into the net.
Badjie was a constant menace to the opposing side and came close to
sending Sutusinjang in the lead but got denied by Besse’s net-minder
Jerreh Sanyang, Besse’s gaffer voiced disappointment over his side’s
blushes blaming lack of concentration and defence lapses.
His opposing number in the dug-out Omar Manga rued his team’s poor
finishing vowing to make amends at training ground while his captain
Madi Ceesay blamed torrential rain that hit the Bullock mini-stadium.
Sutusinjang’s qualification hinges on the outcome of Jalokoto –Jagil Fc
match in which a goalless draw will ensure safe passage for the former
to the next round while a huge goal margin mean exit.
