The 20-year-old Bubacarr has been in goal-shattering form scoring 17 goals in over twenty appearances.
The phenomenal figure makes the former Real de Banjul man the highest goal-getter amongst Gambian overseas-based players.
Savoy has been picking other strikers with few goal returns.
And Jallow believes Trawally –dubbed Steve –deserves no least than a chance to prove his capabilities.
‘To be honest, I’m sick and tired of hearing and receiving messages that we don’t have a killer striker while there is a player who scored more than any other Gambian player at the moment. And he is been playing week in week out for his team. Yes it is true he is not playing premier league or first division as you may call it. But I think Steve deserves to be given a chance to prove himself,’ the Finland-based striker, ruled for ‘personal reason, wrote to his thousand following on social media.
The 26-year-old added, ‘Suma halat as a fan. Please don’t take it personal. Gambia sunu reew la ken oppale wut sa morrom. May Allah give us victory on Tuesday,’
Immediately after saying this, the ex- Al Ain forward deactivated his account. Raoul Savoy is though yet to react.
The Swiss was involved in controversy with Ous Jallow prior to Gambia’s Cameroon game and this latest comment could be viewed as another swipe at the Gambia’s gaffer selection decisions.
