Gambia international Ousman Koli has chosen an unlikely place for club football switching to Bosnia.Ousman Koli

The defensive midfielder has been without a club since the end of his deal with the Maltese Premier League club Mosta in May this year.

However his latest transfer, endorsed nine days ago, means Koli’s club-less days are over after sitting for five months eighteen days without a team.

The 27-year-old, who captained an experimental Gambian team in the friendly against Uganda prior to the South Africa game, joined FK Mladost Dobj-Kakanj of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a contract believed to be only for this season.

Koli’s acquisition is expected to beef up a faltering Mladost side who sits seventh place on nineteen points in the sixteen team league standings.

A confirmed journeyman player, Ousman has had spells in France, Slovenia Bangladesh and recently Malta.
