Regional football Associations have been beefed up with equipment in an effort, according to the Gambia Football federation, to decentralize football.
The materials, ranging from desktop computers, printers, office tables and chairs, filing cabinets, cupboards and solar panels, are being provided to the respective associations via a financial package from FIFA member Associations Performance Programme.
‘The GFF would like to thank the government of the Gambia through the Ministry of Youth and Sports for assisting the RFAs secure Offices and FIFA for funding this very important activity. The GFF further wishes to assure all stakeholders that it is fully committed to the decentralization of Football throughout the Gambia,’ the federation said in a statement.
