Touray left the Stockholm-based club in 2011 after eleven trophy-laden years before sealing a move to South African second-tier club, Santos.
However, after nearly three years in the rainbow nation, the ex-Real De Banjul glove-man wants to move out and has already told his agent to work out a return to Djurgården or a move to other clubs in the Swedish premier league.
The 34-year-old who had an emotional send –off and is viewed as a legend by DIF fans still wishes to play top division football.
“I have a guy who helps me now, to look around among Swedish clubs (for my transfer). If there is something there, I will happily move and return to Djurgården but there aren’t other offers, I will be willing to play another year here (in South Africa),” says the veteran Gambian goal keeper.
But chances of a move being brokered this term looks unlikely with the Swedish transfer window to close by August 11.
The window closes soon, so there is not much time left. I hope it can be solved for anything, any time I want to return to Sweden,” he told Fotbolldirekt.se.
