WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF BARROW’S TOUR?
The absence of united front contesting the national assembly elections has put President Barrow in a very complex political situation as he tours the country. It is difficult to explain what he hopes to gain from the tour. The coalition members are contesting elections in most parts of the country thus turning the elections into a normal multiparty contest. He is therefore left with only one option, that is, to call on the electorate to select the best candidate. This could have been done by simple announcement over the air rather than undertake a nationwide tour.

The Kanifing Municipal Council has denied receiving the 2.2 million Euros contract sign between the K M C and the Italian company J M P on the Bakoteh, dumpsite.
