WHAT DID THE PRESIDENT SAY ABOUT SALARIES?

The President of the Republic has acknowledged that civil service salaries are low and that this matter should be considered.

The way forward is to establish a salaries commission to look into the issues of salaries and pensions. Pensions are worse than salaries.

We therefore hope that the issue of establishing a commission will be taken on board as soon as possible.

Water Pollution is affecting aquatic and marine life, causing the death of many.

Bolongfenyoto is the Lagoon that serves as a demarcation between the Gambia and Senegal, on the southern border of the country. It is used for fishing by tourists and natives alike, and many wild animals can be found there as well.
